Ingredients

green onions, thinly sliced
2 tablespoons
minced fresh parsley
4 teaspoons
Dijon mustard, divided
3 tablespoons
dry bread crumbs
2 tablespoons
ketchup
1⁄2
salt
1 tablespoon
chopped fresh cilantro
2 teaspoons
chopped fresh chives
1 pound
ground beef (90% lean)
2 ounces
cheddar cheese, sliced
4
hamburger burns, split
 
Optional toppings: Lettuce leaves, tomato slices and mayonnaise

Instructions

1. In a small bowl, combine green onions, parsley and 2 tsp. mustard. In another bowl, mix bread crumbs, ketchup, salt, cilantro, chives and remaining 2 tsp. mustard. Add beef to bread crumb mixture; mix lightly but thoroughly.

2. Shape mixture into 8 thin patties. Place sliced cheese in center of 4 patties; spoon green onion mixture over cheese. Top with remaining patties, pressing edges together firmly, taking care to seal completely.

3. Place tall wire rack into inner pot. Arrange patties on rack. Cover with air frying lid. Press air fry function; select custom setting. Press timer; set to 8 minutes. Start.

4. Turn burgers over. Air-fry 6-8 minutes longer or until a thermometer reads 160°. Serve burgers on buns. If desired, add tomato slices, lettuce and mayonnaise.
