boneless & skinless chicken breasts (about 6 oz each)
large, long carrots, peeled
scallions, trimmed
1⁄2 cup
Soy sauce
1⁄4 cup
Brown Sugar
2 teaspoons
grated ginger
2 teaspoons
minced garlic
2 teaspoons
Sesame oil
1 tablespoon
Chinese cooking wine
33⁄100 cups
orange marmalade


1. Cut each chicken breast in half lengthwise to form one long strip out of each chicken breast.

2. Place 1 carrot and 1 scallion in the center of each chicken strip. Wrap the chicken strips around the carrots and scallions and secure with toothpicks to make four skewers. 

3. Combine the soy sauce, brown sugar, ginger, garlic, sesame oil, wine, and orange marmalade in a bowl to make the marinade. Brush the chicken with the marinade, place the chicken in the bowl with the marinade, cover the bowl, and marinate for 30 mins. in the refrigerator.

4. Brush with marinade, cover, refrigerate for 30 minutes. 

5. Place the Grill Plate on the Power Smokeless Grill and preheat the grill to 390° F.  

6. Grill the chicken skewers, turning frequently, until the chicken is cooked through (about 10 mins.).  

7. Serve the skewers over rice.
