Ingredients

1 pound
squid with tentacles (cleaned, bodies cut into 1/2" rounds, patted dry)
2 cups
flour
2 teaspoons
Kosher Salt
1 teaspoon
Freshly ground black pepper
 
Lemons (for serving)
 
Marinara sauce (for serving)
 
Canola Oil (for frying)

Instructions

1. Bring the canola oil to 350 degrees in a Copper Chef XL, over medium heat.

2. Meanwhile, in a bowl, combine the flour, salt and pepper; mix.

3. Toss the squid in the flour mixture.

4. Fry the squid in small batches until light golden brown, about 4 minutes.

5. Serve with lemons and marinara sauce.
