Ingredients

beef stew meat, cut into 1-in. cubes
3 tablespoons
all-purpose flour
3 tablespoons
Canola Oil

russet potatoes, peeled and cubed

medium carrots, cut into 1-in. lengths

medium onion, coarsely chopped

celery ribs, coarsely chopped
1 can
(14 1/2 oz.) diced tomatoes, undrained
1⁄2 cup
Beef broth
1 teaspoon
Ground mustard
1⁄2 teaspoon
salt
1⁄2 teaspoon
pepper
1⁄2 teaspoon
dried thyme

Instructions

1. Toss together stew meat and flour. Press saute function; select beef setting. Brown meat in oil in batches. Remove; layer potatoes, carrots, onion and celery in inner pot. Top with beef.

2. In a large bowl, combine tomatoes, broth, mustard, salt, pepper and thyme. Pour over beef. Cover with glass lid. Press slow cook function;
select beef setting. Select long cook time (10 hours). Start. Cook until beef and vegetables are tender.
